Deaths in Türkiye

Abstract

If the documents of the last two decades on mortality in Turkey are exami- ned, We can see that the mortality tab'es are in a continuous change. The changes occured on the mortality have the following charecteristics : I — Cases of death are decrcasing in general. This decrease is seen in the mortality of the young generation, especially in the mortality of the 0-4 age group. 2 — The mortality proportion of the older age group is increase in the ge- neral mortality, but this is not occuring from the increase of the mortality rate of this age group and this is a relative condition. 3 — One of the fundemental changes in mortality is the causes of death. The death proportion caused by infection discases are decreasing, but the deaths proportion caused by degenerative diseases are increasing in the general mortality. This increas is relative and does not occuring from the increase of the mortality rate in the degenerative discases.

Türkiye'de Ölümler

Abstract

Türkiye'de mevcut verilerdeki son yirmi yıllık ölüm kayıtları incelendiğinde; ölüm tablolarının sürekli bir değişim içinde olduğu görülmektedir. Ölümlerde meydana gelen bu değişikliklerin genel özellikleri aşağidaki şekilde özetlenebilir. I — Genel olarak ölümler azalmaktadır. Bu azalma özellikle (0-4) yaş gru- bundaki ölümler olmak üzere genç nesil ölümleri bölümünde olmaktadır. 2 — Yaşlı gruptaki ölümlerin tüm ölümler içindeki payı yükselmektedir. Bu artış, bu gruba özel ölüm oranının yükselmesi ile ilgili olmayıp göreceli bir artıştır. 3 — Ölümlerde görülen temel değişikliklerden biri de ölüm nedenlerinde olmaktadır. Bu da genellikle enfeksiyon hastalıklarından ölümlerin azalması, dejeneratif hastalıklardan ölümlerin artması şeklinde cereyan etmektedir.
