Thanks to ertical gardens are not only implemented outdoor, but also implemented interior spaces, it is ensured that the species that not grow naturally in Turkey are presented to the people with a different presentation. In this study, so as to determine the types of plants that can be used in indoor vertical gardens and their adaptation, interior vertical garden Which are situated in İstanbul province examined. In this context, it was determined that 41 plant species and varieties were used in indoor vertical gardens. While Codiaeum variegatum, Nephrolepis exaltata, Maranta leuconeura, Tradescantia zebrina ve Diffenbachia spp the first species to disappear from the epiphyte environment because of adaptation problem, Spathiphyllum wallisii, Anthurium andreanum, Aglaonema diamond, Philodendron erubescens, Aspilenum nidus ve Hedera helix are the plants that best adapt to the vertical garden environment. The predominant structure of Epipremnum aureum bring about to disappear the other species in the vertical garden. In addition, the compositions of plants that are not close to each other are unsuccessful. The use of flowering species in gardens with insufficient light has led to a decrease in the number of flowers. The plants that do not meet the demand for moisture, dilution and disappearance have been observed with various deformations
Dikey bahçelerin kullanımının dış mekanlarla sınırlı kalmayıp iç mekanlara da sıçraması ülkemiz şartlarında doğal olarak yetişmeyen türlerin farklı bir sunum ile insanlara sunulması sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, iç mekan dikey bahçelerinde kullanılabilecek bitki türlerini ve bu türlerin adaptasyonlarının belirlenmesi amacı ile; Kocaeli İli’nin Körfez ilçesi ve İstanbul İli’nin Silivri ilçesi arasında, İstanbul il sınırları içinde yer alan iç mekan dikey bahçeleri incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda iç mekan dikey bahçelerinde 41 adet bitki türü ve varyeteleri kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Codiaeum variegatum, Nephrolepis exaltata, Maranta leuconeura, Tradescantia zebrina ve Diffenbachia spp. türleri dikey bahçe ortamlarında ilk kaybolan türler iken, Spathiphyllum wallisii, Anthurium andreanum, Aglaonema diamond, Philodendron erubescens, Aspilenum nidus ve Hedera helix türlerinin dikey bahçe ortamına en iyi uyum sağlayan bitkilerdir. Epipremnum aureum bitkisinin baskın yapısı dikey bahçedeki diğer türlerin yok olmasına sebebiyet vermektedir. Ayrıca ekolojik istekleri birbirine yakın olmayan bitkilerin oluşturduğu kompozisyonlar başarısızdır. Çiçekli türlerin yeterli ışık bulunmayan bahçelerde kullanılması çiçek sayısının azalmasına neden olmuştur. Nem isteği karşılanmayan bitkilerde çeşitli deformasyonlarla birlikte seyrelme ve yok olmalar gözlemlenmiştir
