This descriptive research was conducted to determine nurses' pain management self-efficacy. The sample of the descriptive study consisted of 205 nurses working in a university hospital in Konya. The data of the study were collected face to face between January 14 and March 25, 2023, using the Nurse Information Form and the Pain Management Self-Efficacy (PMSEQ) Scale. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Independent Two Sample t test, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test, One-Way Analysis of Variance test. While 78.5% of the nurses participating in the study stated that they use scales to evaluate pain, 80.9% stated that they did not receive any training on this subject. The total score average of the self-efficacy scale in pain management was found to be 91.93±7.8. As a result, it was found that nurses' pain management self-efficacy was at a good level and that scale scores did not change according to socio-demographic characteristics.
