Year 2025, Issue: 14, 18 - 34, 31.12.2025

Abstract

Technology coexists with the Tourism sector as well as with every sector. Businesses in tourism use Automation Systems to carry out their operations more comfortably and functionally. Automation Systems allow processes to continue automatically. In this context, the aim of this study is to determine the most used Automation System in Tourism Enterprises. ERP systems, which are especially preferred in the fields of Finance and Accounting and use Cloud Computing technology, are also beneficial for these businesses. Another purpose of this study is to provide information about the transition process to ERP systems, the benefits of which are known. The study was created from the Master's Thesis titled "Integration of Automation Systems into ERP System in Tourism Enterprises: Konya Province Example". Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used in accordance with the purpose of the study. In the study, data were obtained by face-to-face interviews with 12 General and Department Managers within the scope of hotel enterprises located in the central districts of Konya province. As a result of the analysis made on the obtained data, it was concluded that the most preferred Automation System was Elektra.
