Elemental analysis in the white cabbage in Gümüşhane, Turkey

Yıl 2014, Cilt: 35 Sayı: 4, 94 - 106, 25.07.2014

Öz

The multi-elements in cabbages and the cabbage own soils are presented in this study. The cabbages were collected 21 different areas of Gümüşhane which is placed at the north-west of Blacksea region in Turkey. The elemental analyses of cabbages have been carried out using energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometry. Mean concentrations of the elements are presented and the metal contents were found in them which play a vital role in cure of disease. Ca and K contents in soils and in white cabbage were compared. They were found to be compatible with each other.
