First Observation of Crested Oarfish

Öz

One specimen of Crested Oarfish was caught by small scale fisherman from
Northern Aegean Sea (Çanakkale) on 11th February, 2018. This species
previously reported from Gökova Bay (Turkey). This paper presents the first
finding Crested Oarfish for Northern Aegan Coast and second finding for the
Turkish Seas.

Tepeli Kağıt Balığı, Kuzey Ege denizinde (Çanakkale)
11.02.2018 tarihinde küçük ölçekli balıkçılar tarafından
yakalanmıştır. Mezopelajik olan bu tür, daha önce Türkiye kıyılarından
Gökova Körfezinde ilk kayıt olarak rapor edilmiştir. Bu makale,
L.lacepede türü için Kuzey Ege’de ilk ve Türkiye kıyıları için ikinci
bulunuşunu verir.
