Tıbbi Bir Tekstil Olarak; TheraTogs ve Uygulamaları

Öz

Hayatımızın hemen her alanına dokunan tekstil ürünleri giyim tekstili, ev tekstili ve teknik tekstil olarak üç alt sınıfta ele alınır. Bu sınıflar incelendiğinde giyim tekstili ve ev tekstili daha çok moda ve tasarım alanlarında yer alırken teknik tekstil grubu Ar-Ge ve Ür-Ge boyutlarında bulunur ve katma değerli ürünler olarak karşımıza çıkar. Araştırmanın amacı; vücut içine yerleştirilemeyen tıbbi ürünler grubunda yer alan, farklı kompozit tekstil malzemelerinden oluşan, fizyoterapistler tarafından kullanılması tavsiye edilen bir tıbbi malzemeler bütünü olarak bilimsel yolla tasarlanmış, GoldTone, TogRite, Velkro kanca isimleri verilen parçaların bir arada kullanılmasıyla TheraTogs adını alan yüksek performanslı teknik tekstili tanıtmak özellikleri ve kullanım yerleri ile TheraTogs ile yapılmış çalışma sonuçlarını incelemektir. Bu doğrultuda; araştırmada sırasıyla, teknik tekstiller, Med-tech uygulama alanları, TheraTogs ve uygulama alanları ile Spandex konuları ele alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda TheraTogs adlı tıbbi teknik tekstil ürününün birçok farklı rahatsızlık için uzman kontrolünde doğru kullanımı ile olumlu sonuçlar elde edilebildiği görülmüştür.
