LOJİSTİK DEĞER VE EK DEĞER: BİR ODAK GRUP ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Son yıllarda üçüncü taraf lojistik hizmet tedarikçi sayısının ve rekabetin artması, çoğu zaman eş anlamlı kullanılan lojistik değer ve ek değer kavramlarına farklı anlamlar yüklenmesine neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı şekilde yorumlanmaya başlayan bu kavramlarının, Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren firmalar tarafından nasıl algılandığını belirlemektir. Bu amaçla yapılan odak grup çalışmasında, lojistik değer ve ek değer olarak algılanan hizmet türleri ve nitelikleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, hizmet farklılaştırmasında kritik düzeyde önem taşıyan lojistik faaliyet sürecinin daha etkin bir şekilde tasarlanmasını kolaylaştırarak firmalara önemli ölçüde rekabet avantajı sağlayabilir

LOGISTICS VALUE AND VALUE ADDED: A FOCUS GROUP STUDY

Abstract

In recent years, the increase in competition and the number of third party service providers has led to new meanings on logistic value and logistic value added which are usually synomymys. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate how these concepts that have been interpreted in different ways are perceived by the companies that operate in Turkey. In the focus group study with this purpose in mind, service types and characterstics that are perceived as logistic value and logistic value added have been determined. The results of this research might provide competitive advantages to companies by facilitating the effective planning of logistic operation procedure that is of crucial importance in service differentiation
