DOĞRUDAN YABANCI SERMAYE YATIRIMLARI İLE İSTİHDAM ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ: 1989-2011 DÖNEMİ İÇİN TÜRKİYE ÖRNEĞİ
Öz
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of foreign direct investments on employment in Turkey. For this purpose, ARDL cointegration method is employed by utilizing the data covering 1989:Q1-2011Q1. The results show that foreign direct investments do not have any effects on employment in Turkey. It is thought that these results are obtained because of the fact that foreign direct investments that come to Turkey mainly consist of merging and purchasing activities

Öz
Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımlarının istihdam üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, 1989:Q12011:Q1 dönemi verileriyle ARDL eşbütünleşme yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Test sonuçları Türkiye’de doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımlarının istihdam üzerinde etkisinin olmadığını göstermektedir. Türkiye’ye gelen doğrudan yabancı sermaye yatırımları daha çok birleşme ve satın alma faaliyetlerinden oluştuğu için bu sonucun elde edildiği düşünülmektedir
