United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) indicate the set of eight goals such as poverty, child rights, schooling, gender inequality and competitiveness. The ultimate objective is to eliminate obstacles of development and disparities between countries and regions. Many projects are supported by the funds to ensure these goals in Turkey. The purpose of this paper is to realize an efficiency analysis for the projects of two regional organizations in Izmir

Birleşmiş Milletler’in Binyıl Kalkınma Hedefleri (BKH) yoksulluk, çocuk hakları, okullaşma, cinsiyet eşitsizliği ve rekabet edebilirlik gibi sekiz başlığı içermektedir. Nihai hedef kalkınmanın önündeki engellerin ve ülkeler ve bölgeler arasındaki eşitsizliklerin ortadan kaldırılmasını sağlamaktır. Türkiye’de bu hedeflerin sağlanmasına yönelik fonlarla birçok proje desteklenmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, İzmir’deki iki bölgesel kuruluşun yaptığı projeleri örnek alarak bir etkinlik analizi gerçekleştirmektir
