Ocimum Basilicum L. Uçucu Yağının Antifungal Etkileri

Öz

Ocimum basilicum
L. uçucu yağı 9 fitopatojenik fungusu oluşturan altı Fusarium türüne (Fusarium
equiseti
, Fusarium graminearum, Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium moniliforme, Fusarium
sambucinum
, Fusarium semitectum)
ve Rhizoctonia solani, Alternaria solani, Verticillium dahliae funguslarının misel büyüme ve %engelleme
oranlarına (in vitro)  uygulanarak
antifungal etkisi test edilmiştir. Çalışma sonuçları, O. basilicum uçucu yağının 15 ve 20 μL petri-1’lik
konsantrasyonlarının F. sambucinum
fungusunun misel gelişimini tamamen inhibe etttiğini ve antifungal etkisinin
ticari fungusit ‘’Captan’’dan daha yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. O. basilicum uçucu yağının farklı
konsantrasyonlarının (5, 10, 15 ve 20 μL petri-1) tüm test edilen
patojenik fungusların gelişimini önemli ölçüde engellemiştir. Yağın uygulanan
tüm konsantrasyonlarında test edilen bütün patojenik fungusların misel
gelişimini 0 dan 31.2 mm kadar değişen oranlarda etkilediği ve yağın antifungal
aktivitesinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. O.
basilicum
uçucu yağı 9 bitki patojeni fungusun büyümesini %23-100 arasında
engellediği görülmüştür. Bu çalışma ile O.
basilicum
uçucu yağının fungusitler gibi kullanılma potansiyeline sahip
olduğu belirlenmiştir.
