EFFECTIVENESS OF COACH TRAINING PROGRAMS IN TURKEY

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to establish the effectiveness of coach training programs in Turkey and to determine the future-based improvement suggestions. The data collected with the aim of the realization of the purpose of the rescearch was obtained through two different a questionnaire was prepared for the purpose of the tetermination of opinions and suggestions as to effectiveness of the coach training program issued by the Directorate-General of Youth and Sport (GSGM) between the years 1987-1994. 286 coaches from 24 different branches have been evaluated in this research.
