PWC 170 TESTİNİN MİLLİ DÜZEYDEKİ HENTBOLCULARIN ASİT-BAZ DENGESİNE ETKİLERİ
Abstract
The study was accompolished to determine the change of acid-base responses of eight national Turkish handball players during the two loading cycles with the PWCJJQ test. Bood samples of subject were taken at rest, after the first and the second loading from fingerprints in capillary blood. No significant changes were found in acid-base responses after the first loading. Whereas. Following the second loading sessions, PH, O2 sat (P < 0,05), HC03, B.B, BE eff and PcpC>2 significantly decreased (P < 0,01) and PcpCO^ Lactic acid concentration significantly increased (P < 0,01). To sum up. In this study after the second loading, an uncompensated metabolic acidosis occured with the PWC] JO test applied to national handball players.
