INVESTIGATING THE FIX-GAME SUBJECT AND EVALUATINGITS REFLECTION ON TURKISH PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUES

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate thefix-game subject around the fact that the point of view of active professional football players and evaluate the reflection of this to the Turkish Professional football leagues. To this study football players who were playing different teams were participated as subjects and 824 auestionnaires were given out. According to this study fix game type in which football players take place was of substantiate Premium from other teams and playing game as prearranged. It is become true that substantiate premium of 32 % (n=264) who were trying to remain at league, 33.1 % (n=273) were trying to be champion. And it is become true that prearranged game of 23.3 % (n=192) subjects who were trying to remain at league, 21.6 % (n=l 77) were trying to be champion. In addition subjects' first preference point of view of fvc game action who takes places were; managers (32.6 %), referees (29.7 %) football federation (15.2 %), mutual wagers (4.7 %) and coach (4.0 %) to become true. On the other hand, subjects classified that the fortnat of fbc game were;behavior of referees as bias (36 %), substantiate premium (34 %), by the way of sake (17.9 %), offering to the football players (l0.7 %). it is concluded that effects ofreferee and managers significantly different others (p< 0.05). At this study another important point that the football players were in unassertive positions in the league.They were not performing their real proficiency (82.6 %). Subjects were giving causefor absent of motivation (71.8 %). It is to be at tensioned that subjects define motivation can beprovided by substantiate premium (73.7%).
