THE EVALUATION OF PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTS IN SCHOOLS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS
Abstract
The aim of the study is to evaluate the physical environments in schools of physical education and sports and 870 students and 330 faculty members from 23 schools of physical education and sports participated the study. The analysis of the data collected through quality scale was carried out through SPSS 12.0. arithmetic means and standard deviations were calculated. In order to reveal the difference among the groups, t-test was used. As a result, it was found that the physical environments in the schools of physical education and sports are neither very good nor bad. Besides this, the state of physical environments are perceived to be "important" by both students and faculty members. Moreover, for both current state and degree of importance attached, the difference among the groups was found to be significant at the level of p<0,001.
