EFFECTiVE FACTORS TOWARDS SCOUTING

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess effective factors to motivate persons towards scouting. The research was accomplished on total of237 active scouts belogns to different scouting groups in Ankara. According to results of this study among the motivation factors towards csouting while "to live in nature" was in the first place with 191.6 points, "to find new friends" was in the second place with (182.8 points while). The first factor to motivate them scouting was friends environmen (156.0 pts) the role of media was in the last (47.0 pts). In addition scouts have mostly begun to scouting in schools (96.6 % ) .
