The Physiological Responses to Different Type of Endurance Trainings of the Young Basketball Players
Abstract
This research
is planned to expose some certain physical characteristics may effect after
applying regularly different type of endurance training during 8 weeks to 3
distinct group of male basketball players whom are same age and have the same
anthropometrics. 48 healthy male
students aged averagely 16,4±0,4 that study at Ankara Büyük College were
participated voluntarily to the research The research groups were constituted
as 16 persons interval training group (1), 16 persons permanent running group
(2), controlling group for 16 persons only technical trainers group (3). Before the 8-weeks-training starts and 3 days
after finishing the program these below anthropometrics and physical tests were
applied to these 3 groups (Height, weight, body mass index, rested heart rate,
vertical jumping, anaerobic power, VO2 max – 20m multi stage fitness test-). As
result of research according to the measurement parameters that test the effect
level of the endurance training in 3 different groups, statistically
significant differences were found within VO2max and rested heart rate.
Furthermore, when comparing 3 groups in one another under these parameters, the
best improvement shown by interval group, followed by permanent running group
and ended with controlling group (<0.001ve<0.005).
