Turkish Mythology and Its Place in Education of Art

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to emphasize the necessity to use Turkish sagas in the education of art to the individuals who are tightly connected to their cultural values and protects them. The study points out that Turkish mythology should take place in the education of art as an inseparable part of a lifelong learning of the individuals and all society. As a result, for the sake of gaining our national and moral values and teaching national history and unity, it is suggested that Turkish mythology should be taught in the education of art.
