A GENERALIZED CLASS OF DOUBLE SAMPLING RATIO CUM DUAL TO RATIO ESTIMATOR IN PRESENCE OF NON-RESPONSE
Abstract
In the present paper, we propose a generalized class of double sampling ratio cum dual to ratio estimator in two cases in presence of non-response to estimate the population mean of the study variable y. The bias and mean square error (MSE) of the proposed estimator has been obtained for both the cases. The asymptotically optimum estimator (AOE) in this class has also been obtained along with its bias and MSE. Comparisons have been made with the existing similar estimators theoretically and numerically to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed estimator.
