The quasielastic scattering angular distribution of the 14Be projectile scattered from the 12C target nucleus at incident energy of 796 MeV is analyzed by using the double folding model. In this context, the eight different density distributions of 14Be are used to obtain the real part of the optical potential. The imaginary potentials of all the density distributions are taken as Woods-Saxon type. The theoretical results obtained for each density distribution are compared with each other as well as the experimental data. Then, the theoretical results of the GO-2n density distribution giving good results in all the density distributions are compared with the results of previous works. These comparisons provide information about the similarities and differences of the density distributions used in the theoretical analysis.
