Hacettepe Journal of Mathematics and Statistics is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access (with no article processing/publishing charge) journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research articles and occasional comprehensive surveys in all areas of Mathematics and Statistics. The journal, which charges no article processing or publishing fees, accepts submissions exclusively in English. It is widely recognized and indexed in leading databases such as Web of Science, Scopus, and Zentralblatt MATH.

Hacettepe Journal of Mathematics and Statistics covers all aspects of Mathematics and Statistics. Papers on the interface between Mathematics and Statistics are particularly welcome, including applications to Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Ecology, Finance, Genetics, and Physics.

We welcome submissions to the Statistics Section that showcase real-world applications across disciplines. Innovative advancements in statistical methodology are highly encouraged, particularly in emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Theoretical contributions are considered if supported by practical applications or well-designed simulations. Additionally, we value statistical software papers (e.g., in R or Python), provided they implement new methods, extend existing techniques, or enhance software tools, with practical relevance demonstrated through real data or simulations.
