DEBONDİNG İŞLEMİ SIRASINDA İLK HİSSEDİLEN AĞRININ VAS İLE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu prospektif klinik araştırmanın amacı sabit ortodontik tedavinin final aşaması olan debonding işlemi sırasında hastaların ilk hissettikleri ağrıyı değerlendirmektir.
Materyal-Metod: Ortodontik debonding uygulanan 26'sı kadın, 15'i erkek toplam 41 hasta (yaş ortalaması 16,44±3,43) çalışmaya alındı. Dört (4) lateral diş için 100 mm Görsel Analog Skala (VAS) kullanılarak hastaların ortodontik debonding sırasındaki ilk hissettikleri ağrı kaydedildi. Veriler IBM SPSS Version 22.0 programında Mann Whitney U testi ve Wilcoxon testi kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Anlamlılık düzeyi (p<0.05) olarak belirlendi.
Bulgular: Yapılan değerlendirmeler sonucunda kadın ve erkeklerin lateral dişlerinin debondingi sırasındaki ilk ağrı hissettikleri VAS skorları değerleri birbiri ile karşılaştırıldığı zaman istatistik bakımından anlamlı olmadığı görüldü. (p>0,05)
Sonuç: Ortodontik debonding sırasında hissedilen ağrı hafif ve geçici olup klinik olarak önemsiz bulunmuştur.
