Einführung in den Thementeil: Das Konzept Utopie / Dystopie

Abstract

Wenn auch den gedanklichen Ausgangspunkt Thomas Morus’ Genre-definierendes Werk Utopia bildet, umfasst das Gebiet der utopischen Literatur heute einen immer weiter verbreiteten und stets wachsenden Bereich. Das 1516 erstmals erschienene Buch von Morus prägte nicht nur die spätere Tradition der theoretischen Utopieforschung, sondern auch die der literarischen Ausarbeitung fiktiver Staatsmodelle.
