We report a case of Mycobacterium colombiense in a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) positive patient who
presented with tender cervical lymphadenopathy that progressed to a fistulous tract. The identification, treatment, and
management of infection with this pathogen are discussed. This represents the first case to our knowledge of
infection with this organism in the United States. J Microbiol Infect Dis 2017; 7(2): 101-103
