Amir Aghsami is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University with over a decade of research experience spanning queueing theory, stochastic processes, healthcare optimization, supply chain management, green supply chain management, inventory control, humanitarian logistics, and data-driven optimization. His work has led to 100+ publications in esteemed journals, including Omega, Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, International Journal of Production Research, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, Operations Management Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Expert Systems with Applications, and the Journal of Cleaner Production.
Dr. Aghsami earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology and holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran. His primary research interests include queueing-inventory systems, operations research, mathematical modeling, humanitarian logistics, disaster management, waste management, production planning and manufacturing, reliability analysis, data mining, and multi-criteria decision-making.
