Bibliometrics Profile of Environmental Management Studies In Hospitality Business and Recommendations for Future Research

Abstract

Due to the tourists those participate to the tourism activities in destinations are damaging natural national and international tourism assets, the value of these eras’ diminish. This study compiles national and international study conducted in the topic of environmental management in literature. Study aims to be an incentive factorfor researchers to conduct studies in relevant topic by informing them in thi scontext.

The main factor that under lies to design of this study is while the researches which conducted internationally in environmental management are sufficient, the National studies are insufficient in the cotext of quantitative.

Within the scope of this study, we haveconducted a bibliometric analysis on environmental management studies interms of both national and international aspect. In that context resarcher’s field of study, publisher/journal,  the years of studies, the main topics of the studies and the authors were reviewed.

Konaklama İşletmelerinde Çevre Yönetimi Konusunun Bibliyometrik Profili ve Gelecek Çalışmalar İçin Öneriler

Abstract

Turizm faaliyetlerine katılan turistlerin ziyaret ettikleri destinasyonlardaki doğal varlıkları tahrip etmeleri, bu nedenle de doğal varlıkların önemini yitirmeye başlaması ulusal ve uluslararası turizm değerlerine zarar vermektedir.

Bu çalışmada turizmde çevre yönetimini temel alan ulusal ve uluslarası çalışmalar derlenmiştir. Bu çalışmalara yönelik bilgilendirmeler yapmak suretiyle, gelecek çalışmalara bir vizyon katarak çevre yönetimine ilişkin çalışma yapılmasına teşvik edici bir bakış kazandırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın yapılmasına temel oluşturan başlıca etken, yıllar itibariyle konaklama işletmelerinde çevre yönetimini içeren, uluslararası çalışmaların dikkat çekici derecede olmasına karşın, konuya ilişkin ulusal akademik çalışmaların nicelik bakımından yeterli düzeyde olmamasıdır.

Bu çalışma kapsamında incelenen makalelerin; araştırma desenleri, araştırmacıların çalışma alanları, süreli yayınlar, çalışmanın konusu, araştırmanın yılı ve yazarları dikkate alınarak uluslararası ve ulusal bağlamda bibliyometrik analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir.
