Abstract

Patent foramen ovale (PFO)'nin perkütan kapatılması, son yıllarda cerrahi tedaviye göre daha sık uygulanmaya başlanan güvenilir ve etkili bir yöntemdir. Bunun yanı sıra yönteme ait çeşitli komplikasyonlar da görülebilir. Bu olgu sunumunda, PFO’nun perkütan yolla kapatılması sırasında sağ atriyum arka duvarı perfore
olan, acil şartlarda başarılı bir ameliyatla, sağ atriyumun tamiri ve PFO’nun cerrahi olarak primer kapatıldığı
bir hastayı aktarmak istedik.

Right Atrium Rupture and Successful Surgical Repair During Percutaneous Closure of Patent Foramen Ovale

Abstract

Percutaneous closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO) is a reliable and effective method that has been used more frequently than surgical treatment in recent years. However, various complications of the method can be observed. Here we report the case of a patient in whom right atrium posterior wall perforated during percutaneous closure of PFO, for which successful surgical repair of the right atrium and surgical primary closure of PFO was performed.
