Disseminated occult bone metastasis as shown by 18F Na-F Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography: Diagnostic Challenge

Abstract

46 years old woman with diagnosis of breast carcinoma who had disseminated bone metastasis invisible in bone scingtraphy SPECT and 18F fluorodeoxyglucose PET-CT. The 18F Na-F PET-CT imaging demonstrated uptake related to the metastasis.
