Glomus caroticum imaging by means of 18F Fluorodeoxyglucose and 68Ga DOTATATE Positron Emission Tomography-Computed Tomography

Abstract

There are a few case reports of glomus caroticum with radionuclide imaging findings but this is the first report of an 71 years old male patient with the left mass lesion of the neck was accurately diagnosed by the imaging characteristics in metabolic and somatostatin receptor labeled PET-CT.
