REPLY TO L’HISTOIRE

Abstract

François Georgeon’s interview with Fuat Dündar, published in the April 2009 issue of L’Histoire, has been criticized with this article standing as a reply and being written by Prof. Dr. Norman Stone and Maxime Gauin. In the article, while the lies laid by omission and the inaccuracies of Dündar are being mentioned, it is also expressed that data lacking accuracy and being proven as erroneous a long time ago has been used to support his thesis. As a result of the evaluations made within this framework, it has been concluded that Dündar’s method is rather polemical than scientific.
