This work presents design of microstrip patch antenna for operation at 3.3 GHz using five basic feeding techniques. The antenna was intended for use next generation wireless application such as WiMax. When the proposed antenna design, patch size, dielectric material and thickness of substrate were fixed, only feeding techniques and dimensions of transmission line were changed. In this way, performance of feeding techniques was compared and was tried to design of wideband microstrip antenna. Ansoft – HFSS was used for the simulation of antenna and up to %60 wideband microstrip antennas were designed.
