THE CALCULATIONS OF (P,XN) REACTIONS CROSS SECTIONS OF 203, 205Tl TARGET NUCLEI BY USING PROTON CYCLOTRON
Abstract
In this study, the new calculations on the excitation functions of 203Tl(p,2n)202Pb, 203Tl(p,3n)201Pb, 203Tl(p,4n)200Pb, 205Tl(p,2n)204Pb, 205Tl(p,3n)203Pb and 205Tl(p,4n)202Pb reactions have been carried out in the 5-70 MeV incident proton energy range. In these calculations, the pre-equilibrium effects have been investigated. The pre-equilibrium calculations involve hybrid model, geometry dependent hybrid model and the cascade exciton model. The calculated results are compared with the experimental data taken from the literature.
