NİTRO GRUBU İÇEREN ONNO TİPİNDEKİ SİMETRİK SCHIFF BAZLARININ TERMAL BOZUNMALARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Özet: Simetrik alifatik daiminler ile nitrolanmış salisilaldehitler kullanılarak simetrik yapılı dialdiminler hazırlandı. Bu aldiminler element analizi ve IR spektroskopisi ile karakterize edildi. Elde edilen bileşikler termogravimetri ile incelendi. Yüksek nitro grubu sayısından dolayı bileşiklerin patlayıcı maddeler gibi davrandığı ve salisilaldimin birimlerini bağlayan alkil grubunun büyüklüğü ile ekzotermal parçalanmanın şiddetinin ilişkili olduğu görüldü. Hazırlanan tüm aldiminler erime noktasına ulaşmadan ekzotermik bir tepkime ile parçalandığı gözlendi. Hidrazin ve 1,2 diamino etandan meydana gelen Schiff bazlarının oksijen dengesi kuralına göre patlayıcı maddelere benzer şekilde parçalandığı sonucuna termogravimetri verileri kullanılarak varıldı. Anahtar kelimeler: Termal analiz, ONNO tipi Schiff bazı, nitro grubu INVESTIGATION OF THE THERMAL DECOMPOSITION OF ONNO TYPE SYMMETRIC SCHIFF BASE CONTAINING NITRO GROUP Abstract: Symmetric dialdimines were prepared from symmetric aliphatic diamines and nitro containing salicylaldehydes. These aldimines were characterized using element analysis and IR spectroscopy. The compounds were also analysed thermogravimetrically. Due to high numbers of nitro groups the compounds behaved like explosive materials. The size of alkyl groups bonding the salicylaldimine units is in reation with the the intensity of the exothermal degradation. All the aldimine compounds were observed to exothermally degrade before reaching their melting point. It was concluded using thermogravimetry that Schiff base compounds prepared from hydrazine and 1,2-diamino ethane degraded according to the oxygen equilibrium rule.
