In this study, first atmospheric radon measurements have been represented for the workplaces other than public buildings located at Isparta city centre. The measurements were performed by using CR39 nuclear etched track detectors for a period of 43 days in winter season. The analyses of the detectors revealed that, the arithmetic mean of indoor radon for the workplaces at the city centre is 144 Bq/m3 with a standard deviation of 90 Bq/m3. According to the measurements done for 30 workplaces, 37% of the detectors recorded the radon concentrations lower than 100 Bq/m3 while 43% of them measured between 100 and 200 Bq/m, and 17% of the measurements were higher than 200 Bq/m3. All measurement results were lower than the limit value of TAEK (Turkish Atomic Energy Authority). Additionally, the annual doses might be taken by the workers in those work places were estimated by considering daily working times of 8, 10 and 12 hours. Within the limitations of this study, it was found that the minimum annual dose received due to radon exposure in those workplaces is 0.6 mSv and the maximum value is 6.5 mSv
