Med J SDU is a fully open access, online/print journal that follows independent, unbiased, and double-blind peer-review principles. In particular, it aims to promote locally produced works that are above a certain standard of quality in the international arena.

Med J SDU publishes research in all areas of the health sciences, including original clinical and experimental studies, reviews of current topics, case reports, editorial comments, and letters to the editor. The language of the journal is English.
