Endovascular treatment of arterial pathologies has shown a significant increase in recent years. Thromboembolism orginating from heart, acute thrombus based on chronic atherosclerotic peripheral arterial disease, trauma, iatrogenic pathologies (arterial puncture), external compression (tumor, abcess) and dissection are found among the reasons of arterial stenosis. In the endovascular treatment of iliac artery stenosis, generally recanalization made by percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) is applied. Local intraarteriel thrombolysis and treatment with PTA or recanalization by primer stenting are also applied. The treatment of iliac artery stenosis has become confident and perminent by the progresses in endovascular techniques and various stent alternatives. In this paper, balloon expandable stent treatment of serious (99%) stenosis in left external iliac artery due to malignancy, not having been defined in literature before, is presented.
