Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

Scientific papers submitted to SJNDS will adhere to the guidelines set forth by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) for Editors and Authors.

Authors' Ethical Duties and Responsibilities
1. In studies requiring ethical board approval or special legal permission, this information must be stated in the article, and the permission document should be uploaded to the relevant field during submission.
2. Permission must be obtained from the owners for the use of scales, surveys, photographs, etc., owned by others, and this must be clearly indicated in the article (with proper citation).
3. It must be stated that copyright regulations are followed for the use of ideas and artistic works.
4. All sources of support for the work must be acknowledged in the acknowledgments section of the paper.
5. Authors are responsible for the originality of their submitted manuscripts and must use ethical citation methods for any quotes included.
6. Authors must explicitly declare any conflicts of interest or competing interests in their writings. Even if there are no conflicts of interest or competing interests related to the paper's subject, this should still be stated in the article. Common types of conflicts include financial support, educational or other funding, personal or institutional relationships, and memberships.
7. Submitted articles must not have been published elsewhere and should not be under review elsewhere.
8. If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in a published work, they must promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to withdraw or correct the article.
Editors' Ethical Duties and Responsibilities
- Editors should make decisions regarding the article based on its original value, the journal's objectives, and ethical guidelines.
