Abstract
The syringomyelia refers to the development and progression of the cerebrospinal fl uid (CSF) fi lling space within the spinal cord. We wanted to share with you the 56 years old male case with syringomyelia that misdiagnosed as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and using riluzole therapy. We wanted to share this phenomenon, which was diagnosed with ALS in terms of emphasizing the importance of neuroimaging. ( Sakarya Med J, 2018, 8(4):859-862 ).
