Nörobilim Ve Psikiyatri Hemşireliğinde Kullanımı: Hayal Ya Da Gerçek?

Öz

Nöronların keşfi ile başlayan ve gelişerek günümüzün popüler yaklaşımlarından biri olan nörobilim, biyolojik ve psikolojik bilimler arasında tamamlayıcı ilişkinin olduğu bir disiplindir. Beyin ile ilgili anatomik, fizyolojik bilgilerin artması ve görüntüleme bulguları ile birlikte beynin incelenmesinin mümkün olması nöral bağlantıların ve psikopatolojinin anlaşılmasını sağlamıştır. Böylece psikososyal ve nörobiyolojik yaklaşımı bütünleştirerek psikiyatrinin pozitif bilim olma yolunda ilerlemesinin önü açılmıştır. Psikiyatri alanındaki bu gelişmelere paralel olarak psikiyatri hemşireliği içinde biyolojik yaklaşımlar teorikte olduğu gibi uygulamada da önem kazanmıştır. Nörobilimin psikiyatri hemşireliği ile ilişkisini anlamamız; nöroplastisitenin geliştirilmesiyle, psikofarmakolojik tedavilerin, psikoterapilerin ve psikoterapötik müdahalelerin etkilerinin nörogörüntülemelerle izlenmesiyle bakım anlayışımıza katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu amaçla derlemede nörobilimin gelişmesine, psikiyatride paradigma değişimine, psikiyatrik hastalıklarda ve tedavilerde nörobilime, nörobilim hemşireliği standartlarına, psikiyatri hemşireliğinde nörobilimin kullanımına ve ilgili araştırmalara yer verilmiştir.
