Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Erzincan bölgesindeki su kaynaklarından alınan örneklerin radon aktivitesi yaz ve kış mevsimlerinde belirlenmiş ve mevsimsel değişimi araştırılmıştır. Ölçümler AlphaGUARD radon detektörü ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlar mevsimsel olarak önemli bir değişimin olmadığını göstermekle birlikte yaz mevsiminde nispeten daha düşük radon değerleri belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen kaynakların radon aktiviteleri, içme suları için USEPA (United State Environmental Protection Agency) tarafından tavsiye edilen 11.1 Bq.l-1 üst sınır değerinin oldukça altında bulunmuştur.

Abstract
In this study, radon activity of samples taken from water resources in Erzincan region was determined in summer and winter seasons and seasonal changes were investigated. Measurements were carried out with AlphaGUARD radon detector. Although the results showed that there was no significant seasonal change, relatively lower radon values were determined in summer season. Radon activities of the determined sources were found to be well below the upper limit value of 11.1 Bq.l-1 recommended by USEPA (United State Environmental Protection Agency) for drinking water.

When the Faculty of Letters and Sciences was separated into the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Letters with the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2008/4344 published in the Official Gazette dated 3 December 2008 and numbered 27073, it has been published as "Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty" between 2009-2025.
