The goal of this study was to examine the relationships among vocational maturity, career indecision and irrational belief. A total of 282 high school students were participated in the study. The Vocational Maturity Scale, Career Indecision Inventory and Irrational Beliefs Scale were used to collect data. Regression analysis and Pearson Moment Correlations were used to analyze the data. The results showed that vocational maturity and career indecision were mostly related to irrational career belief rather than general irrational belief. It was also determined that irrational career belief predicted vocational maturity and career indecision more than general irrational belief. Further, it was found that irrational beliefs regarding career choice was correlated with career indecision rather than vocational maturity.

Ara t rmada veriler Mesleki Olgunluk Ölçe i, Mesleki Karars zl k Envanteri ve Ak lc Olmayan nançlar Ölçe i kullan larak elde edilmi tir. Verilerin analizinde, regresyon analizi ve Pearson Momentler Çarp m Korelasyon Katsay s kullan lm t r. Yap lan analizler sonucunda mesleki olgunluk ve mesleki karas zl n genel ak lc olmayan inançlardan çok, meslek seçimine ili kin ak lc olmayan inançlarla ili kili oldu u bulunmu tur. Ara t rmada meslek seçimine ili kin ak lc olmayan inançlar n genel ak lc olmayan inançlara göre, mesleki karars zl ve mesleki olgunlu u daha çok yordad belirlenmi tir. Ayr ca meslek seçimine ili kin ak lc olmayan inançlar mesleki olgunluktan çok mesleki karars zl kla ili kili oldu u belirlenmi tir.
