Abstract
Günümüzde mobil telefonlar bir çok alanda yaygın bir kullanıma sahiptir. Pek çok insan uzaktaki bir sistemi izlemek yada kontrol etmek amacı ile cep telefonlarını kullanmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada bir PIC mikrodenetleyici, mobil telefon üzerinden GSM teknolojisini kullanarak aldığı mesajlarla bir sistemi kontrol etmek için kullanılmıştır. Bu sistemin yer ve zamandan bağımsız olarak kullanılabilmesi gibi avantajları vardır. Ayrıca küçük değişikliklerle farklı sistemlere adapte edilebilmesi gibi bir esnekliğe de sahiptir. Sistem uzaktan kontrolde düşük maliyetli ve esnek yapıda bir çözüm sunmaktadır.

Abstract
Nowadays, cellular phones are commonly used in several areas. Many people use their mobile phones for the purposes to communicate with remote systems to control or to track the systems. In this study a PIC microcontroller is used for controlling a system based on the messages received by GSM technology through mobile phone. This system has advantages such that it can be used independently from location and without time constraints. It has also the flexibility to adapt to different system with minor modifications. Implementing this type of system brings low cost for controlling the system remotely in terms of flexible structure.
