Elektromanyetik Radyasyona Maruz Bırakılan Kobayların Serum Bakır ve Çinko Seviyelerine Yeşil Çayın Etkisi

Öz

Çalışmada cep telefonundan kaynaklanan elektromanyetik dalgalara maruz bırakılan ve yeşil çay uygulanan kobaylarda serum bakır ve çinko seviyeleri incelendi. Materyal olarak 28 kobay (Guinea pig) kullanıldı ve 4 gruba (n=7) ayrıldı. Hayvanlar kafeslere yerleştirilen cep telefonlarından, günde 20 dakika konuşma modunda, 23 saat 40 dakika standby konumunda 900-MHz elektromanyetik radyasyona (217-Hz pulse rate, 2-W maximum peak power, SAR 0,95 w/kg) maruz bırakıldı. Serum çinko seviyelerinde gruplar arasında önemli bir farklılık görülmezken, elektromanyetik radyasyona maruz bırakılan grupta, serum bakır seviyeleri ve Cu/Zn oranının kontrole oranla düşük olduğu (p < 0.05) gözlendi. Elektromanyetik radyasyona maruz bırakılan gruba (Grup B) oranla, elektromanyetik radyasyona maruz bırakılıp yeşil çay ekstraktı uygulanan grupta (Grup C) ise serum bakır seviyesi ve Cu/Zn oranının yüksek (p < 0.05) olduğu görüldü. Sonuç olarak, elektromanyetik radyasyonun hücrelerde hasara neden olarak serbest radikal oluşumunda etkili olduğu ve yeşil çayın serum iz element seviyelerinde değişikliğe neden olduğu görüldü
