Bio

My current and future research interests are generally in two areas motivated by my personal interests and teaching experience. I desire to incorporate my research interests with my teaching aspirations. My principal research interests lie in the field of biorefinery approaches and biobased economy. I am currently investigating the biorefinery systems such as Physico-chemical pretreatment (Liquid Hot Water, Sub and supercritical treatments etc.), bioconversion of renewable lignocellulosic biomass to biofuel and value added products Using the latest conversion techniques and analysis. Additionaly, I’m interested in Technology foresight and future projections. My future research agenda will expand upon my previous research and current interests. I have been involved in a number of projects, working with various collaborators. Finally, I want my research to be useful to the community, academia, and my colleagues as we educate future generations
