The Moss Flora of Yeşilyurt and Battalgazi (Malatya/Turkey) District

Öz



In total 42 taxa, belonging to 11 families and 24 genera were determined by
identifying moss specimens collecting the study area. From these taxa, 16 for
Malatya province and 10 for B9 grid square according to the grid-square system
of Henderson (1961) are new records. While the highest families in terms of
number of taxa are Pottiaceae (12), Brachytheciaceae (7), Grimmiaceae (5), the
largest genera are
Syntrichia, Didymodon, Orthotrichum, Tortula  and Grimmia
(3). Also, the life forms of the taxa which were examined in terms of
ecological and floristic have been analyzed. From life forms; while Turf life
form ranks the first, Mr and Cu life forms ranks the second. The most of taxa
within the floristic list are xerophyt, photophyt and subneutrophyt.

Yeşilyurt ve Battalgazi (Malatya) İlçelerinin Karayosunu Florası

Öz



Bu çalışmada, Yeşilyurt ve Battalgazi (Malatya) İlçelerinin karayosunu
florası araştırılmıştır. Araştırma alanından toplanan karayosunu örneklerinin
teşhis edilmesi sonucunda, 11 familya ve 24 cinse ait 42 takson tespit
edilmiştir. Bu taksonlardan 16 tanesi Malatya ili, 10 tanesi ise Henderson
(1961) kareleme sistemine göre B9 karesi için yeni kayıttır. Takson sayısı
bakımından
  en zengin familyalar
Pottiaceae (12), Brachytheciaceae (7) ve Grimmiaceae (5) iken en fazla taksona
sahip cinsler ise Syntrichia, Didymodon, Orthotrichum, Tortula
  ve Grimmia (3)’dır. Ayrıca ekolojik ve
floristik yönden incelenen taksonların hayat formu analizleri de yapılmıştır.
Hayat formlarından; Turf (Tf) ilk sırada yer alırken pürüzlü halı (Mr) ve
yastık (Cu) ikinci sırada yer almıştır. Floristik listedeki taksonların çoğunun;
kserofit (kurak), fotofit (ışık seven) ve subnötrofit (yarı nötral) karakterde
olduğu saptanmıştır.
