Abstract

European integration is a process which attends theoretical studies and arguments. There is not a single theory which is able to provide an exhaustive explanation of European integration.Integration theories are able to explain merely a part or a period of European integration. The study reduces this implication to the potential of integration theories to interpret the European Union enlargement. As a consequence, it is claimed that integration theories are not able to explain enlargement properly. In this article, it is argued whether the integration theories are special reference points for interpretation of the European Union’s enlargement waves and their deficiencies within the context of this situation

Siyasal Bütünleşme Kuramları Işığında AB Genişlemesi
