NILI spying organization was one of the important inteligency agencies the British used in WWI. The organization, founded by the Jews, provided information to the British intelligence about the Allied armies deployed on the Palestinian-Syrian Front. The Ottoman archives contain original information about NILI and its activities. Turkish intelligence reports provide satisfactory information about the founders of the organization, their activities and working procedures. A research that ignores Turkish archives cannot analyze the NILI spy organization in a satisfactory way. This research, largely based on archival documents, reveals the mystery of the NILI spying organization that the Turkish public does not know enough.
