Abstract
PFAPA syndrome periodic fever, aphthous stomatitis, pharyngitis, cervical adenitis is a pediatric periodic disease characterised by recurrent febrile episodes. This syndrome usually observed under 5 years of age and common in boys. In this case report, a 4 year old boy with complained of recurrent attacks of fever, tonsillitis and cervical lenfadenitis is presented. The attacks had recurred every 20-25 days. The attacks of the patient dramatically resolved after a single dose of metilprednisolon.

Abstract
PFAPA sendromu periyodic ateş, aftöz stomatit, farenjit ve servikal lenfadenit tekrarlayan ateş atakları ile karekterize bir periyodik çocukluk çağı hastalığıdır. Bu sendrom genellikle 5 yaş altı ve erkek çocuklarda daha fazla gözükmektedir. Bu yazıda 4 yaşında 20-25 günde bir tekrarlayan ateş, tonsillit ve servikal lenfadenit ile başvuran bir erkek çocuk sunuldu. Ataklar tek doz metilprednizolon tedavisi ile dramatik olarak düzeldi.
