Abstract

Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy PCNL is a minimally invasive method for the treatment of kidney stones and has replaced open stone surgery. However, it should be kept in mind that various complications may develop in PCNL operation like every surgical procedure and even these can be life-threatening. Although PCNL can be performed tubeless in appropriate patients, nephrostomy is routinely terminated. In this article, we discussed the brekeage of the nephrostomy catheter that we have placed after PCNL operation and our endoscopic approach to this condition which was not previously reported in the literature.

Perkütan Nefrolitotomi Sonrası Nadir Bir Komplikasyon: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Perkütan Nefrolitotomi PNL böbrek taşlarının tedavisinde minimal invaziv bir yöntem olup, günümüzde açık taş cerrahisinin yerini almıştır. Ancak her cerrahi işlem gibi PNL operasyonunda da çeşitli komplikasyonların gelişebileceği, hatta bunların hayatı tehdit edecek boyutlara ulaşabileceği unutulmamalıdır. PNL operasyonu uygun olan hastalarda tüpsüz olarak yapılabilse de rutinde nefrostomi yerleştirilerek sonlandırılmaktadır. Biz de bu yazımızda daha önce literatürde bildirilmemiş olan PNL operasyonu sonrası yerleştirdiğimiz nefrostomi kataterinin kopmasını ve bu duruma endoskopik yaklaşımımızı anlattık.
