JAK 2 positive chronic myeloproliferative neoplasia polycythemia vera and chronic lymphocytic leukemia coexistence: a rare case

Abstract

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is a malignant haematologic disease characterized of accumulation of abnormal lymphocytes mainly in peripheral blood and bone marrow. Polycythemia vera is a myeloproliferative disorder characterized of overt production of mainly erythrocytes but also all three lineage. Simultaneous presentation of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and myeloproliferative disorders is very rare in literature. We report a case of polycythemia vera which developed just after chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Abstract

Kronik lenfositer lösemi, anormal lenfositlerin kan ve kemik iliği başta olmak üzere vücutta aşırı miktarda birikmesiyle oluşan malign bir hematolojik hastalıktır. Polisitemia vera ön planda eritrosit olmak üzere her üç hematopoetik hücre dizisinin aşırı üretimi ile sonuçlanan myeloproliferatif bir hastalıktır. Kronik lenfositer lösemi ve myeloproliferatif hastalıkların birlikteliği literatürde çok nadir olarak bildirilmiştir. Biz de burada kronik lenfositer lösemi sonrası polisitemia vera gelişen bir olguyu bildiriyoruz.
